Where do I edit my profile details?

Open Profile & Account and select Edit profile in the profile panel on the right. A drawer opens where you can update your About Me, name, photo, job title, organization, primary email, location, and t-shirt size. Select Save Changes when done. Two of these are exceptions that save immediately when you make them — uploading a photo and choosing a primary email — so Cancel will not revert those two. See Edit your profile.

How do I update my profile photo?

Open the Edit profile drawer and select the pencil button on your avatar to upload a new image. Accepted formats are PNG, JPEG, or WEBP, up to 2 MB.

Is there a limit on my About Me / bio?

Yes — About Me can hold up to 2,000 characters. A live counter under the field shows how many you have used, and typing or pasting beyond the limit is ignored. A simple emoji counts as one character, though a few elaborate emoji (such as flags or combined "family" glyphs) count as more than one.

How do I make my profile public and control what it shows?

Your profile is private by default. Open Profile & Account, select Public profile settings in the profile panel, and switch Profile visibility to Public. From there you can toggle which sections appear (contributions, badges, certifications, About Me, and more). Changes save automatically. See Public profile settings and Your public profile.

My name is displaying incorrectly. How do I fix it?

Open Profile & Account, select Edit profile, update your First Name and Last Name fields, and select Save Changes.

Where do I manage my email, password, affiliations, or CLAs?

Those live in the Account section, not your personal profile. See the Account FAQ for email and password changes, affiliations, CLAs, transactions, and developer settings.

Who do I contact if I cannot access my account?

Contact LFX support via in-app messaging. If you cannot sign in at all, use the login page's help or forgotten password link.
