Profile
Manage your personal identity in LFX Self Serve — name, photo, About Me, primary email, and location — and your public profile.
Last updated
The Profile section is where you manage your personal identity on LFX Self Serve — your name, photo, About Me, primary email, and location. These details are stored with your Linux Foundation account (Auth0, via the LFX auth service) and control how you appear to other community members. You edit them in the Edit Profile drawer, and you choose how much of your profile is visible to the public.
For account management beyond your identity — work history and affiliations, connected identities, individual enrollment, CLAs, transactions, and settings — see the Account section.
Your personal profile
The information below covers your individual LFX identity — the profile tied to the email address you use to log in.
What you can do
- Update your name, photo, About Me, job title, and organization
- Set your primary email address and location details
- Choose your t-shirt size for event swag
- Publish a public profile and choose which sections it shows
Who this applies to
All authenticated users have a profile. Every user can view and edit their own profile.
Navigation
Go to app.lfx.dev and select Profile & Account from the left navigation sidebar. Your personal details are edited in the Edit Profile drawer — see Edit your profile.
Your public profile
Separate from your private details, you can publish a public profile — a page at app.lfx.dev/u/<username> that showcases your contributions and credentials to anyone. It is private by default. Use Public profile settings in the profile panel to make it public and choose which sections appear.

Your company's activity
The Profile page in Org Lens (route: /org/profile) shows your organization's profile within the Linux Foundation — separate from your personal account. This is your company's public-facing identity across Linux Foundation projects and programs.
What you can see
- Your organization's name and logo
- Website link and Crunchbase profile (if provided)
- Organization description, industry/sector, and number of employees
- Primary and billing addresses
- Last updated date
Navigation
Switch to the Org lens using the lens selector at the top of LFX Self Serve, then select Profile from the left navigation sidebar (route: /org/profile).
Who can access this
Viewing your organization's profile in Org Lens requires admin access to your organization in LFX. If you are not yet an admin, another admin at your organization can invite you to accept an admin role. Once you accept, you will be able to view and, depending on your role, edit your organization's profile information.
