Become a Mentor
How to register a mentor profile in LFX Self Serve and ask to mentor a program.

Registering creates your mentor profile. Program Admins and applicants both read it, and it has to exist before you can join a program.
Before you begin
- Sign in to LFX Self Serve at app.lfx.dev with your Linux Foundation account.
- Have your introduction, your skills and your project links ready.
Steps
- Go to app.lfx.dev/mentorship/mentor.
- Fill in the registration form, including your introduction and your skills. Up to 100 skills, each up to 300 characters.
- Acknowledge the platform terms.
- Submit the form.
After completing
You land on the Mentor area, which has two tabs: My Programs and Mentor Profile.
If you already have a mentor profile, returning to the Mentor area takes you straight to My Programs rather than showing the form again.
