What is the difference between Events and Meetings?
Events are Linux Foundation public conferences, summits, and community gatherings. Meetings are internal project meetings such as Technical Steering Committee (TSC) calls and working group sessions. Use the Events section for public LFX events and the Meetings section for project-scoped calls.
Why don't I see any events?
Your current project context or lens may not have any scheduled events. Try switching to the Me lens to see events across all your affiliations. Events may also be added on a rolling basis as they are scheduled.
Can I register for events from LFX Self Serve?
Event registration is handled externally (not within LFX Self Serve). My Events shows events you are already registered for across all foundations. To register for a new event, visit the event's external registration page.
Can I filter events by project or date?
Filter using the All Foundations, All Roles, and All Statuses dropdowns. Tabs include Upcoming, Past, Visa Letters, and Travel Funding.
Can I see events I attended in the past?
Yes. Select the Past tab on the My Events page to view events you have previously attended.
How do I get notified about new events?
Check the My Events page regularly for new events. Contact your project administrator for information about event announcements in your project.
Who do I contact about a specific event?
Contact the event organizer listed on the event detail page, or reach out to LFX support through the Help Center.
